PAST PRESENT FUTURE PERFECT

2013

Installation (studio documentation*)

Solo exhibition at Krasl Art Museum, September/October 2013

If we were to stop trying to discern time, would we still know where we are?

Past Present Future Perfect is an installation about our personal relationships of time. The equinoctial ring dial sits as a static pendulum in terrestrial earth, while the light, sound, and reflective sculpture invites the audience to experience their own relationship to time. This meditative environment situates the viewer in the moment, and their participation activates a personal consideration of the relationship between time & space.
